She felt a love for filming at an early age, when her father bought a Hitachi camera to capture the childhood of his two daughters and to document weddings of friends.
Her recent work includes feature films like “Life of Glory” with DOP Judith Kaufmann, “Munje 2” with DOP Dušan Joksimović. Medium length drama “Roads not taken” with DOP Michael Schindegger, “On the edge” with DOP Konrad Milan, “Mother tongue” with DOP Simone Hart. Music videos like “Thirsty eyes-Pop sent” with DOP Florian Noever. Live LP “Faber Orpheum (Live)” with DOP Julian Jonas Schmitt, Commercial for the “ARRI CCM1 Monitor” with DOP Heiko Knauer, to mention only a few.
After finishing her film studies in Vienna in 2014, she began her journey in the Austrian film industry as a camera assistant until she was introduced to the Steadicam. Her Steadicam mentors, Fabian Meller, Patrick de Ranter, and Alex Brambilla, played a crucial role in her development. They discovered her talent early on, fostering it with encouragement and guidance.
Another very important mentor in her career is DOP Christine A. Maier.
Driven by a passion for camera work combined with movement, she attended a professional Steadicam Workshop organized by Betz Tools in Munich, Germany in 2018, followed by a Trinity 2 workshop in 2023 organized by Fares Corbani in Dubai. Here, under the mentorship of Trinity 2 product designer Curt Schaller and future mentor Leon Moralić, she made significant strides, emerging as the first female Trinity 2 operator worldwide to be certified by ARRI. Her accurate slow camera movements attracted the attention of the Camera Stabilizers System Department (CSS) of ARRI, which invited her in 2022 to work alongside them as an ARRI Academy Trainer and CSS Specialist.
